Car Design Forum Tokyo 2017: Live!

23 October 2017 | by CDN Team

Our Car Design Forum is now an absolutely unmissable pre-Tokyo show fixture for the world’s car designers. It’s a unique chance for them to explore new ideas, attempt to solve the industry’s future challenges and explain their creative visions.

And you can watch the 2017 event absolutely live via the magic of web video from our Tokyo venue, the ultra-cool Andaz Toranomon Hills hotel. We’ll be streaming the whole event from start to finish. Here’s when to tune in:

09:45-17:00 (JST) Tuesday 24th October
01:45-09:00 (BST)
02.45-10:00 (CEST)
20:45-04:00 (EDT, Monday 23rd October)

Many of the most exciting concepts and production cars being launched at Tokyo this year were created by the designers coming to the Forum. Don’t miss the opportunity to watch their presentations, on topics from adventure heritage to brand evolution.

Confirmed speakers this year include: Nissan’s Alfonso Albaisa, Land Rover’s Massimo Frascella, Tata’s Pratap Bose, GAC’s Zhang Fan, Honda’s Tsuyoshi Matsuhashi, Toyota’s Yoshihiro Sawa, Genesis’s Sangyup Lee, Aston Martin’s Marek Reichman, Alpine’s Antony Villain, Yamaha’s ‘Dezi’ Nagaya Akihiro, Geely’s Peter Horbury and Faurecia’s Andreas Wlasak.

If you miss the event as it happens, we'll be uploading videos of each session to the Car Design News website and our YouTube channel.
