Packaging Designer/Engineer

Position Description:
Whether you're a new graduate or have a few years of experience, there's a place for you in our Design department at our Torrance, CA location. Here you'll work closely with Stylists, Modelers and Engineers to bring new vehicle concepts to reality. While arranging vehicle layouts, such as location of basic masses, all critical dimensions and ergonomics, you'll help create various interior and exterior mockups of advanced designs for production proposal. Some travel may be necessary.

Position Requirements:
Consideration for this great opportunity demands creativity, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design, 2-4 years of experience and a basic understanding of project coordination, procedures and techniques. Knowledge of automotive mechanisms and strong communication and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
