Alias Modellers
Technicon Design is currently seeking Alias Modellers for various contract positions with clients in Germany and the UK.
Ideal candidates will have a design background and experience in all aspects of digital modelling - from sketching to A-class surfaces - using Alias StudioTools. They will support designers throughout their creative process to develop Interior and Exterior automotive models. In order to work in international studios good written and spoken English is essential.
In the UK we require one modeller to work in the South East of England. The modeller should be able to start immediately and will work until the end of this year at least.
In Germany we require one modeller to work with a client in Russelsheim. The modeller should start in October and will work until the end of this year.

Surface development engineer (Icem Surf)
Technicon Design currently requires a Surface development engineer to work in the South East of England.
The Surface development engineer will be responsible for the development of CAD surfaces for release, to a high quality and on time, using Icem Surf software. This is a contract role with an immediate start. The successful modeller should be able to start immediately and will work until at least the end of this year.

Aeronautical Project Manager
We are looking for an expert Team Leader or Project Leader to work within the Aeronautical Division of a first tier supplier on an aeronautical project.
The right candidate must be an expert in the development of aircraft interior, materials and aeronautical technology processes.
The individual will be required to asses the design team working on the project and may be responsible for a section of the plane interior. There may be the occasional travel but the position will be based in either Italy or Spain.
The candidate would need to have a minimum of 5 years experience in this field and have English as a first language. A 2nd language in either French/Italian/Spanish would be desirable but not essential.
Previous experience working for Airbus in Hamburg or for a supplier to Airbus would be an advantage.
The contract is to commence in September 2008 and is expected to last between 1-2 years.
