The traditional end to the press days at Detroit sees the EyesOn Design awards handed out to the event's best in show. The top production and concept cars on display are selected by a panel of judges made up of current and former top designers, and heads of design schools.

This year, the jury selected the Buick Avista as the best concept car at the show. The award marks the second year in a row that the firm has taken the honours in this category, as the Avenir won last year's vote.
