The Innovation Center opened at the start of 2018 bringing together a multi-disciplinary team of 50 creatives in a think tank environment developing and designing future mobility for the Group, focusing on customer needs and trends in Asia.

As a senior designer in Innovation Center Asia, Kang has a rich and diversified design experience. With a broad education experience both of industrial design and Aircraft design, Kang has been working for PowerVision, where a lot of advanced design works has been created by him, e.g., drones and robots. Currently Kang is leading the exterior and interior design works not only for the Urban Air Mobility China project in VW, but also cooperating with the innovation team for the development of concept and production vehicles for the future Chinese Market.
