Exterior/Interior Designer
Your Mission:
As an Exterior / Interior Designer in our Studio at KIA Design India, you will be part of the creation of context-driven designs. This includes developing 2D and 3D proposals, prospective and speculative concepts, utilizing new tools, storytelling, and delivering stunning presentations. Emphasizing collaborative thinking and innovative approaches is crucial. Working alongside our overseas design team, you will contribute to crafting captivating narratives and concepts.
In this role, you will be part of exterior/Interior design, participating in the design of all lineups, including concept cars, ICE, and EV. In addition, you will contribute to the mass production project in line with the design direction.
Your Talents:
- Excellent sketching skills traditional and digital.
- Ability to create high-quality design proposals through sketches, renderings, and 3D digital models
- Collaborative approach in the development of digital designs with other teams
- Stay informed about emerging design trends to enhance brand innovation
- Effective communication, reporting, and presentation skills with internal teams and the Korean headquarters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Transportation Design or a related field
- With experience of 3 to 10 Years.
- Demonstrate creativity through sketching, digital sketching, and compelling digital presentations
- Proficient in Adobe, skilled in Alias or other 3D visual media, and Microsoft Office
- Proactive and self-motivated team player
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in the dynamic automotive industry
- Foster collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization
- Excellent verbal, written, visual communication and presentation skills in English

CMF Designer
Your Mission:
As a CMF Designer for the brand, your mission encompasses designing for both interior and exterior elements. You will play a key role in establishing early, mid, and long-term design strategies for diverse lineups, including ICE and EV. Your responsibilities extend to developing innovative materials and overseeing the mass production process. Grounded in Design Identity, you will research and enhance the distinctive Color, Material, and Finish design direction. In this role, you will be working with the global CMF design team. In addition, you will contribute to the mass production project in line with the design direction.
Your Talents:
- A person with a competitive and differentiated portfolio
- Able to collaborate seamlessly with other departments, demonstrating positive, flexible thinking, and excellent communication skills
- Trend research & Analysis
- Creation, Development, and Implementation of Color, Material, Finish Design
- Concept and strategy derivation and development
- Innovative Creativity and Development (Advanced Development, Material Expert Research)
- Identification of trends and development of functional and story-telling materials (Concept Building)

Requirements:
- Degree in industrial/product/visual design or transportation design
- With experience of 3 to 10 Years.
- Work experience related to CMF design
- Proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator
- Experience in domestic/foreign car brand CMF
- Understanding of the entire CMF design development process and a history of implementation
- Proficiency in VRED software
DEX Designer
Your Mission:
As a DEX Designer in our Studio at KIA Design, you will be part of the creation and development of prospective and speculative solutions through contextual understanding. Your role involves generating innovative ideas within a context-driven framework.
In this role, you will be part of the design team, participating in the design of all lineups, including concept cars, ICE, and EV. In addition, you will contribute to the mass production project in line with the design direction.
Your Talents:
- Flexible and adept at thinking outside the box to solve creative problem
- Proficient in evoking emotion through writing
- Understand product usage within sociocultural, organizational, and economic contexts
- Ability to effectively convey ideas to colleagues
- Form solid collaborations with cross-functional teams
- Expertise in communicating reports and presentations with internal and global teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Transportation Design, User Experience, Design and Social Context, or a related field
- With experience of 3 to 10 Years.
- Demonstrate a high level of creativity within a contextual framework
- Demonstrate creativity through sketching, digital sketching, and compelling digital presentations
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Skillful in emotional writing and storytelling
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
