A custard-coloured Cadillac was revealed yesterday, showcasing beautiful forms and incredible attention to detail on the interior
The Cadillac SOLLEI Concept is very yellow, but very pretty. It was designed to showcase “the ultimate design expression of a coach-built luxury electric convertible” in the brand’s own words.
The unexpected new show car was unveiled late yesterday 22 July at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt, a newly restored facility at GM’s technical centre in Warren, Michigan. The exterior design language feels in line with that of the Lyriq and Celestiq, particularly with the distinctive front grille and light signature.
The interior sports milled brushed aluminium, unstained wood veneers and leather with a pink iridescent pigment for a colour-shifting sunrise effect. Oh, and the obligatory integrated drinks cooler. It harks back to a time where Cadillac was the identifier of American luxury and is a pleasantly unexpected release.
