The designer has received his second promotion in as many years 

Nicholas David has continued his rise through the ranks at Karma and has now been promoted to VP global design. He originally joined the company in March 2022 as director of interior design before being swiftly bumped up to senior design director in October.

David told CDN following the announcement that it has been a bit of a whirlwind, but an enjoyable one. “I am really excited about what we have been doing over that last two years, and having been able to steer the renaissance of Karma’s design direction and strategy with our talented deisgn team has been incredibly rewarding.”

David has been working closely with Michelle Christensen, who had served as VP of global design since August 2022 but took on a slightly different role in November 2024 as VP of global brand and lifestyle. The change in titles for both David and Christensen essentially formalise the roles they had already been doing, with both “dividing and conquering” on design and branding, but now have more focussed tasks.
