Ex-Adient interiors head joins Toyota’s in-house interior parts supplier
Richard Chung has joined Toyota Boshoku – a vehicle interior and powertrain components supplier within the Toyota Group – in February. He will be based near Nagoya, Japan. Chung was previously the VP of innovation and design at Adient for two years.
As the global leader for Toyota Boshoku’s design, ‘new value creation’ and interior space development, he is the first person from outside Japan to join the company at a leadership level, as Toyota Boshoku is looking to become the leading interior and seating supplier globally in the imminent new era of mobility.
